Prashanti Institute of Management (PIM), Ujjain has been elected as participating Institution of UBA - A Flagship Program of Ministry of Education, Govt. of India for accelerating sustainable growth of rural India. Institute has adopted five villages nearby Ujjain under its UBA activity in which students and teachers will visit the village and organize some events related with education, environment, cleanliness, health & hygiene, Government Schemes etc.

PIM would be the first private Institution in Ujjain who has recognized by UBA under its participating institution.

On this achievement of the institute, Chairman of Prashanti Education and Welfare Society, Shri L. L. Gupta and Vice-Chairman CA Shri Avnish Gupta expressed their willingness to fully cooperate with Government in this mission. Dr. Suyash Jhawar, Director of the Institute considered it as most important step for the development of rural India and also appealed to other institutions to take part in the same. Govt. of India. Prof. Ajay Jaiswal has been appointed as Coordinator of UBA from the Institute.
